The location is perfect and convenient, at a short distance from Hveragerdi Church. You could walk to a great bakery and a bakery. They serve fresh food, have lots of options to choose from.

The staff were really helpful and amicable, gave us great tips. Easy residential location just off a hike to the Reykjadalur valley and Selfoss, a bigger and more enjoyable place compared to Hveragerði. Plus it was max 25 mins walk to the lake.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Reykjadalur Guesthouse. The room was new and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We appreciated having a fridge and kettle in the room. The self check-in and check-out process was easy. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.
The bathroom tends to get flooded during showers, which is a minor inconvenience. Additionally, breakfast is not served at the guesthouse, so guests need to go to another hotel for it.
